Installing LADSPA Plugins for Audacity

The document contains notes about installing Steve Harris' LADSPA effects plugins for Audactiy under SuSE Linux - specificly, a workaround for the fact that the plugins package doesn't correctly find the FFTW library.
There are also some links for streaming audio and video software (VideoLAN, FLAC, Vorbis, Speex, Theora, XSDF. etc) which probably need to be separated out into a separate post.
